Buckminster Fuller, a colorful latticework piece made from 20 hexagonal porcelain pieces, is the prototype for the Buckminster Fuller Presentation Series. Buckminster Fuller's geodesic shape is that of a truncated icosahedron whose 12 pentagonal and 20 hexagonal faces convey the perfect symmetry of the carbon 60 molecule, buckminsterfullerene. This piece is part of Chris Zelov's permanent collection and can be seen at the "Genius Loci Gallery" in New Jersey's historic coastal town, Cape May.
